Keep heavier items low

Choose storage intended for the weight it holds. Do not assume a decorative shelf is a dumbbell rack. Follow fixing instructions and consider the surface being attached to. Ask a qualified installer if you are unsure about anchors or wall construction.

Protect small accessories

Keep bands away from sharp edges, sunlight and heat according to the manufacturer’s guidance. Let damp mats dry before storage. Use a simple container for accessories, but avoid hiding damage that you need to notice before the next use.

Leave space to retrieve items

A tidy photograph can disguise awkward storage. Make sure you can reach each item without pulling heavy equipment over other objects. Keep children and pets away from weights and pinch points.

Review what you use

Every few weeks, notice which items leave storage. Keep useful items accessible and reconsider equipment that occupies space without supporting your routine. A small setup with clear storage can be easier to use than an extensive, crowded collection.
