Understand the setting

Check building rules, quiet hours and any restrictions on common areas. Choose an indoor space with clear movement room and appropriate ventilation. Keep shared corridors and emergency exits clear, even temporarily.

Choose a setup you can put away

Compact equipment can help when a room serves several purposes. Consider whether you can lift, move and store the items safely. A set that is difficult to put away may stay in a walkway, so plan storage before ordering.

Treat sound as a design question

Weights, treadmills and jumping can transmit sound through a building. Floor protection may help protect surfaces but does not guarantee sound isolation or structural suitability. Speak to neighbours or building management where appropriate. Avoid dropping equipment.

Keep expectations practical

A home corner can complement a gym rather than replace everything in it. You might use home space for selected activities and visit a gym for equipment or coaching you do not have. Decide what the apartment setup is for and keep purchases within that purpose.
